HOPE

The province of Ontario has endured several stages of lockdown and pandemic restrictions over the past year and a half. Throughout those months, Ontarians have remained positive and optimistic. The growing vaccine rollout has sparked hope and encouragement anew as we slowly emerge out of the pandemic. And as we do so, we are graced with smiling faces and warm hugs! Scroll to see the residents keep a hopeful and upbeat manner throughout the changing seasons.

GO TO : My City / My Community / STAY AT HOME

So many difficult situations to explain to little ones in Covid times. We held a funeral for a close family member this week, and it was all the more complicated because of the new Covid rules and Covid anxiety. We tried to make it up to my daughter afterwards with a heap of sugar covered ice cream.

Community Bliss

The Community Back to School Backpack Drive was a great event that allowed for the community to connect in person, support one another, and gather to empower the youth as they prepare for school.

Community Kitchen

This week was an Adventure for our Micro-teams. Local news reported that a defective transformer caused the neighbourhood power outage on Wednesday.

That didn’t stop them, Cozy Cottage pies were portioned, labelled and in the freezer on Thursday..

Love Note

Do you know your love language?

The 5 love languages are how you feel affirmed or “loved”.

My love language is: words of affirmation.

Yesterday I posted a reel about how I affirm my Teens through their individual love languages. Check it out!

Love for Project Mom Halo

@snugabye #lovecollection to the rescue on this cold day in #toronto #canada

...

...

@projectmomhalo project that gives 15% of the proceeds to the @sickkidsvs - not your average #babyclothing company with various options for the family. As a #momhalo who has benefited from the @sickkidstoronto presence in the city - have to help where you can.

That Bowl Photo

#torontokid at play with bowls - I think he looks like a #snowman

...

...

#toronto #canada - We all have to remember to be silly at times. So we danced after this before watching the grinch who stole christmas - trully laughing and enjoying yourself is the best to keep yourself healthy mentally. Just have to let go and do it.
